Follow your legal growing guidelines
Legal states still set rules: plant count limits (often 3-6 mature plants per adult and a household cap), age minimums (21+ in most states, or a valid medical card), enclosed and locked space requirements, out-of-public-view requirements, distance rules from schools, landlord permissions, and in some places registration or licensing. It is your responsibility to know and follow every rule that applies to you.
No sales, gifting, or transport across state lines
Do not sell homegrown cannabis unless you hold the appropriate license, and never transport cannabis across state lines — that remains a federal offense regardless of state law.
