240W High-Efficacy LED (2.9 umol/J)
Stage: All stages
$337
Efficacy is how much usable light a fixture makes per watt it burns. At 2.9 umol/J this board delivers the photon output growers expect from a 400W-class fixture while drawing 240 watts from the wall.
Over a 12-hour flowering day that difference is real money: roughly 1.9 kWh a day instead of 3.5, which is a meaningfully smaller line on your power bill every month for the same harvest.
Dimmable from 0-100% so one fixture handles seedling through late flower, and passively cooled so there is no fan to fail or hum.

Questions about this product
- Is a 240W light really enough?
- For a 3x3 canopy, yes. Yield tracks usable photons delivered, not watts consumed, and a high-efficacy board delivers more photons per watt than older fixtures.
- How much will it add to my power bill?
- Around 1.9 kWh a day at 12 hours on, so roughly $8-9 a month at 15 cents per kWh. Our light coverage calculator works this out for your exact tent and rate.
- How high should I hang it?
- Measured canopy to fixture: 26 – 32 in over seedlings at low power, 22 – 28 in in veg, 16 – 22 in through peak flower, and 20 – 26 in in the last ripening weeks as you ease the intensity back. Hold the back of your hand at canopy height for 30 seconds. If it feels uncomfortably hot, the light is too close for the plant too.
